PEJ • Preacher of the Gospel
Rev. Pharis Evans Jr. accepted his calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in 2004. He has been appointed and anointed to carry on such a respected legacy of ministry. His roots seem to have paved a path, in which God has ordered his steps to follow his father and pastor, Rev. Pharis Evans Sr., and renowned uncle, Rev. Dr. Clay Evans.
Although Pharis Evans Jr.’s lineage connects him to such a nationally-known preaching and ministry family, he has defined his own existence and is invariably clarifying his own identity within the Evans name and legacy.
Rev. Pharis Evans Jr. offers the Good News of Jesus Christ with the purpose to reach and detach, with hopes to save souls, and encourage lives with life application messages.
PEJ Ministries’ mission is to be a word-centered ministry, designed to “Bridge the Gap” between Calvary and Pentecost. PEJ strives to proclaim the providence, presence, purpose and power of God, throughout the hedges, highways and churches, in a God-glorifying, Christ-centered, Holy Ghost-empowered, word-based, manner.
Rev. Pharis Evans Jr. has become very sought after among the Evangelical circuit. He has traveled abroad evangelizing/preaching the good news to various faiths. Although Rev. Pharis Evans Jr. is of the Baptist faith, his evangelical word has reached the CME, AME, COGIC, Full Gospel, and other denomination.
Although he may not be one of the traditionalisms, Rev. June (known by his home Church) has the unique manner of exegeting and delivering the scripture. In the words of his uncle, Dr. Clay Evans, “Pharis Jr. is chosen and fit, carrying on the Evans name and legacy, by representing the Word of Jesus Christ.”
A Message To, and About, Pastor PEJ
Good afternoon, Pastor Pharis,
I trust that your day is off to a great start.
Before proceeding, I'd like to say once again how much I enjoyed fellowshipping with CRMBC yesterday. I had no knowledge that it was Family and Friends Day. I wasn't invited by anyone, but instead was prompted in my spirit to come and attend for the first time ever. I am thankful to have done so.
I enjoyed every aspect of the service yesterday, in particular, the way that you ministered BEFORE you began to minister. (I'm sure not everyone caught that). For every instance in which you extended an apology to a brother or sister in your congregation, you were exhibiting spiritual maturity and strength.
Instead of allowing yourself to be the one being poked, you poked the enemy directly in the eye and removed all opportunity for him to gain an advantage in the relationships with those whom you apologized to or who you embraced during their spiritual missteps.
What you demonstrated by your example promotes the kind of spiritual connectivity that is absolutely essential among believers. As I told you yesterday, by the Spirit, you are a man of genuine humility and spiritual integrity. THAT makes your Heavenly Father smile! Keep doing what you're doing, my brother. It is no surprise why the enemy seeks to continually trouble you. You are a force to be reckoned with in the Kingdom. My prayers will be continually with you.
Final thought: you preached two messages yesterday - the first through real-life illustrations of how believers are supposed to love, and the other from the Book. I enjoyed and was ministered to by both!
(Brother, I apologize, but I had to get that out). When you get a moment, please give me a call. I have a couple of artistic things going on and would like to know if you might be able to assist me by referring some performers. That's all I'll say for now. This message is already way too long! I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
